About AOTW:

This all started as a joke, really. You've all heard radio and television programs where an announcer mentions the sponsors, such as, "The such and such show... brought to you by the ABC Company, and by XYZ Cola... have an XYZ today!" Well, in our "dot com" society we're seeing more dot com companies sponsoring programming. Since my partner Rexene and I are big UFO/alien "buffs" (shh... actually were from another planet... just kidding... or am I?) this became the big joke... (in my best announcer voice) "...brought to you by Aliens on the web dot com--if you're looking for a little green buddy, come to Aliens on the web dot com!" This went on for a few weeks, until we had the bright idea to do a "who is" search to see if aliensontheweb.com actually was a site, or if the domain name was available. In keeping with things being odd in our lives, sure enough, the name was available, so we blew 70 bucks! Cool--it's ours! Now what? Did we want to do a funny, whimsical site, or something stuffy and serious?

OUR MISSION: is basically both... whimsically stuffy. Actually, we want to provide resources for researchers and investigators of UFOs and the paranormal. Since we ourselves do research, study and investigate cases, we will be providing some very serious material. We do however, enjoy humor, and will incorporate some "light heartedness" to keep things interesting for all!
